《HAUNTED GALLERY》に、中国のソフビメーカー【Gunpowder toys】の『キョンシーカイジュウ』が海を越えてやって来た!!
今回が日本初上陸となる本作は、有名な中国妖怪『キョンシー』の怪獣化というコンセプトのもと製作された一作。
身にまとう服や口からのぞく鋭い牙といったキョンシーならではの記号を押さえつつ、どっしりとした脚や大きくうねる尻尾に怪獣らしさを集約。
見る角度でガラリと印象を変える見ていて飽きない仕上がりとなっている。
死人のようにダークな色調の皮膚に映える生々しい血しぶき塗装にも注目してほしい。
細やかな作り込みが生み出すハードな雰囲気と、玩具らしいコミカルな表情とのバランスが絶妙な一品だ!
