これまで数々の妖怪ソフビを手掛けてきた同社が、古来からの伝承で有名な妖怪『化け草履』に挑戦した本アイテム。
長年使いこまれた草履の化身らしい質感を追求して、マットな塗装に汚し表現を追加、艶あり仕上げの手足との対比が見事な一作となっている。
さらに一つ目や舌、手足に蓄光素材を採用、暗闇で怪しく光を放つ嬉しい演出も用意。
単体でも十分な存在感を備えるのはもちろん、同社の妖怪たちと並べて百鬼夜行を再現するのも一興だ。
コミカルな表情の中にも不気味さを感じさせる、きめ細やかな仕上がりの一品だ!
