日本初上陸となる本作は、もっとも有名な妖怪『鬼』をモチーフにした一作。
肝となるデザインのベースには、現在でも広く親しまれる『浮世絵』に描かれたイメージを採用。
これまで数々の妖怪ソフビを手掛けてきた同社ならではの解釈も相まって、絵から抜け出したかのような存在感たっぷりの仕上がりとなっている。
こだわりの造形を引き立てる繊細な塗装が施されたボディーは、暗闇で怪しく光を放つ蓄光成型となっているのも見逃せないポイントだ。
