デザイナーズトイを多く手掛ける台湾のソフビメーカー【Ronin Studio】こと【jzl_mode】と、陶芸の経験と植物への愛情をもち、独自の世界観を持つ植物陶芸の作品を世に送りだしている【robinceramicstudio】の主宰のRoben氏が、南アフリカ原産の大型球根植物「ハエマンソイデス」をモデルに作り出した本作。
「植物を感じる」生活を創造することをモットーとし、波打つような形の葉やまるまるとしたフォルムといったポイントを押さえつつ、ツインズの名通り2つの球根が連なる独特な形状をボリュームたっぷりに造形した一品。
まるで陶器に用いられる黒釉のような重厚なブラックの成型色に、ゴールドとメタリックグリーンで彩りを加えた華やかなカラーリングにも注目してほしい。
モチーフの持ち味を活かしたユーモラスなスタイルが、ソフビファンはもちろん植物好きの心も捉える一作だ!
