商業原型を10年以上経験し多数の作品を世に送り出して来たスタッフが、特撮への深い愛情で取り組んだ一作。
1970年代に放送された特撮コメディドラマ『チビラくん』に登場するわんわん快獣で主人公チビラくんのペットを、味のあるチャーミングなデフォルメで造型。
トレードマークでもある大きな両耳を別パーツにすることで、遊びの幅が広がっている点にも注目してほしい。
